Should your child be evaluated?

A parent, doctor, teacher, school psychologist, speech therapist or other professional may refer a child for neuropsychological testing for the following reasons:

  • Attention difficulties (ADD/ADHD).
  • Learning and/or memory difficulties.
  • Autism or other social difficulties.
  • Language or communication difficulties.
  • Nonverbal Learning Disability.
  • Organizational problems.
  • Emotional and/or behavioral problems.
  • Anxiety.
  • Depression or mood swings.
  • Auditory or visual processing difficulties.
  • To establish a baseline for for tracking developmental and educational progress.
  • To identify changes in abilities since prior evaluations.
