Should your child be evaluated?
A parent, doctor, teacher, school psychologist, speech therapist or other professional may refer a child for neuropsychological testing for the following reasons:
- Attention difficulties (ADD/ADHD).
- Learning and/or memory difficulties.
- Autism or other social difficulties.
- Language or communication difficulties.
- Nonverbal Learning Disability.
- Organizational problems.
- Emotional and/or behavioral problems.
- Anxiety.
- Depression or mood swings.
- Auditory or visual processing difficulties.
- To establish a baseline for for tracking developmental and educational progress.
- To identify changes in abilities since prior evaluations.
